Clean Tech Company’s Smart Emissions Reducer Now Ready for Mass Market

Clean Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions’ Smart Emissions Reducer Now Ready for Mass Market Adoption (Complete Story Here)

December 5, 2016

Sparta, New Jersey

Source: Clean Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions says after successful third party laboratory testing and intense field testing around the world with positive results, the Smart Emissions Reducer is now ready for mass market adoption.

“The Smart Emissions Reducer is field tested and laboratory approved for saving money and the environment,” is the message sent by the clean technology company Extreme Energy Solutions (EES), provider of the Smart Emissions Reducer (SER). Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., has spent several years investing in focused, quality research, development, and fine tuning of this device for the purposes of one day finding itself under the hood of most vehicles. The company believes that the Smart Emissions Reducer will become a standard component for most new makes and models of vehicles manufactured and sold around the world. EES made its announcement via video; can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=KT80ftMB06E

In the last five years, the Smart Emissions Reducer, under the stewardship of Extreme Energy Solutions had been introduced domestically while also making landfall in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, China, and Italy. It is there, where a number of these devices have been tested, sold, and considered by government, commercial fleet operators, as well as engine and vehicle manufacturers, in their quest to play their part in lowering harmful toxic vehicle emissions while maximizing the efficiency of their vehicles.

The Smart Emissions Reducer has been put through a battery of testing in the last half a decade which included a regiment of testing by Roush Industries, in Lavonia, Michigan. The purposes of these tests were to baseline a vehicle’s emissions and fuel economy numbers without the device applied to the vehicle, then again to trial the vehicle with the device under controlled laboratory conditions. Two sets of vehicles in 2012, 2015, 2016 were sent to the laboratory, all demonstrating consistent results, which showed the device had a positive effect on lowering the vehicles emissions? even up to a 65% reduction in emissions. Fuel efficiency numbers were also compared, with testing revealing up to a 7.5% increase in fuel efficiency on specific year and make models.

The Changzhou Keshi Group tested the Smart Emissions Reducer in their lab, located in Jiangsu Providence of China. Extensive testing protocols were practiced in testing the device. Keshi tested the device on Cummings diesel engines that were modified for use by the vehicle manufacturer that specializes in mining equipment and vehicles. Their results demonstrated the Smart Emissions Reducer performed well, with up to 25% reduction in certain emissions and up to 2.5% increase in fuel efficiency. In addition to Roush and Keshi, the Smart Emissions Reducer was tested by FreeCol Labs, via a mass spectrometer test. This particular test verifies the before and after effects of the pollutants and chemical makeup of emissions gases as they entered and exited the device. The tests were very revealing in providing information that the Smart Emissions Reducer has an effect on blowby exhaust gases.

The Smart Emissions Reducer has seen a number of realtime pilot program trials and testing in the field. Devices were installed on a number of vehicles, and monitored over a period of 30-60-90 day intervals. Emissions results were recorded as business and municipal fleets would provide the very first series of field trials of the device.

The first municipal fleet trial was ran in Andover Township, New Jersey. The next municipality to try the Smart Emissions Reducer was Winnebago County in Illinois, followed by the City of Rockford (IL), Douglas County (OR), and the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PA). These vehicle fleets saw results between a 25% to 75% reduction in emissions as well as fuel efficiency gains? in some cases, up to 12% and 15%. Some of these municipalities opted to purchase the devices used during the pilot program and thereafter.

Commercial business fleets to pilot the device, some implemented a plan to retrofit select vehicles throughout their northeast locations. The New York City Taxi and Limo Commission reviewed the device as well, and made it permissible for vehicles under their rulemaking to be retrofitted with the green technology device. Taxi fleets in California also tested the device with much success.

The device was also tested on the 602 GM Crate Engine, commonly founded throughout the Northeast dirt track racing circuit. Crate Motor Connection had provided the dyno and tested the engine retrofitted with the device, reporting back that they monitored no adverse findings and with a slight increase in efficiency noticed.

With these successes on the books, Extreme Energy Solutions decided it was changing its business model, making the device available to vehicle manufacturers. The choice came in 2014/2015 when the final test results were collected from pilot programs in Jordan that solidified the verdict of the Smart Emissions Reducer’s worthiness. Since then, Extreme Energy Solutions has visited with a number of potential clients/vehicle manufactures headquartered in the United States as well as various other countries including China and Italy.

“It was with the end game in mind, that we began our grass roots campaign to commercialize the Smart Emissions Reducer,” commented Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc.,“Our vision is to see this device installed at factory level when new vehicle and engines are manufactured. We feel the technology has proven itself over time to be effective enough to aid engine and vehicle manufactures in meeting new goals and benchmarks in greenhouse gas emissions and fuel efficiency ratings.”

Even though the company has begun to limit testing on smaller scale projects, Extreme Energy Solutions is still concentrating resources on its flagship product as Burlum continued to explain, “We shifted a part of our focus away from localized projects and decided to begin setting the stage to address vehicle and engine manufacturers. This means the switch of focus takes your device and company out of the local limelight and put back behind the scenes until engine/vehicle manufacturers are ready to announce their intent to make the move to adopting the device.”

The company has a number of LOI’s from vehicle/engine manufactures where talks are still ongoing. Burlum was noted in saying that Extreme Energy Solutions would still entertain a local/regional Smart Emissions Reducer pilot project with a municipality or commercial fleet if the terms and conditions were not in conflict with the company’s current direction. The Company has projects slated in Jordan and South Africa to continue testing the Smart Emissions Reducer in the field on both commercial and government owned vehicles.

“Local Racers Finish Strong with the Support of Green Tech Firm and their Innovation”

Local Racers finish the year strong with the help of Green Tech Firm and their innovation

September 15, 2016

Middletown, New York

Source: Extreme Kleaner/Smart Emissions Reducer/Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored racers finish the season strong for their first partnered campaign, with positive showings at the Orange County Fair Speedway and Accord Speedway; drivers Tommy Vigh Jr. and Connor Otten make strong finishes in 2016 as they set their sights on 2017 race season.

The 2016 racing season has come to an end at the Orange County Fair Speedway, located in Middletown, New York and at the Accord Speedway, located in Accord, New York; where both Tommy Vigh Jr., driver of the #92 Sportsman Modified Extreme Kleaner-Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored machine, and Connor Otten, the rising rookie driver of the #11 Sportsman Modified Smart Emissions Reducer-Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored ride, competed on a weekly basis in hunt of the points championship.

Both drivers would make a showing at both tracks, each calling a track their home track, while running a partial campaign at the other track. This was the first year of a multi-year campaign for both drivers to be working together as teammates and having the support of the green technology company, Extreme Energy Solutions, at their side. Both drivers ended the season in respectable position as it relates the total number of weekly competitors would battle for wins, points, bragging rights, and new sponsor dollars and deals.

Tommy Vigh Jr., the driver of the #92 Extreme Kleaner Sportsman entry entered the weekly field at the Orange County Fair Speedway (Middletown, NY) as a regular at the “Hard Clay.” After a dismal season, finishing near the end of the pack (36th) in 2015 as driver of the #4NY Sportsman ride, Vigh took behind the wheel of the Extreme Kleaner machine and finished the 2016 campaign 18th in points; a major accomplishment for the driver whom had major trouble qualifying early on in the season for a feature race. Vigh outpaced his 2015 record, having qualified and finished most of the races he entered and winning a series of qualifying heats.

“This year was the first time working together with teammates and with our new sponsors and car owners. There was a big learning curve in getting use to the updated equipment and new engine packages sourced out by our sponsor,” commented Tommy Vigh Jr.

“Near the end of the season we were beginning to get things right, with the handling and the engine tuning. We believe we would have had some stronger finishes however we ran out of racing season. We only had a chance to compete in 14 contests due to races being cancelled for inclement weather,” added Vigh. “It was nice to get in a few races at Accord Speedway this year.” Tommy Vigh Jr. finished 33rd with only participating a few regularly scheduled events.

Connor Otten, driver of the #11 Smart Emissions Reducer Sportsman machine, dedicated his campaign at the Accord Speedway, located in the Catskills of New York, as a weekly competitor at the Friday Night bargain. Otten fiercely fought for position and would not bow to the pressures of being a rookie or to the challenges that plagued his season; and finished 7th in points out of 44 drivers whom showed up at the Accord venue. This is a major upset from his 2015 run where Otten had ran a limited schedule due to vehicle issues and lack of sponsorship.

Otten also competed on Saturday nights at the Hard Clay, racing in the Rookie Sportsman Division. There he had a number of top five finishes as a Rookie Division competitor and finished 39th out of the 84 man Sportsman roster.

“Once we worked out the bugs, the car began to handle really good on the short track (Accord); and when it would respond, did well within the ranks at Middletown (OCFS); Connor Otten contributed.

“We had a lot of help in the pits and off the track in getting the car ready. Our sponsors were great and provided much needed boost so that we could make for a good showing each week. We wish we could have done better and will aim to do so in 2017.”

Both drivers are slated to continue their campaign as representatives of Extreme Energy Solutions and the Company’s product lines; in the Sportsman division as they look forward toward the 2017 Season.

“Extreme is proud of both driver’s ability, which their skill sets began to reveal near the end of the season,” commented Samuel K. Burlum, CEO of Extreme Energy Solutions, “both drivers are great representatives of our products and of the sport. We enjoyed working with them as the contributed toward our advertising and marketing efforts, and took a sincere interest in testing our products and technology; furthering the amount of data we have on file supporting the effectiveness of our products in real time use.”

“We look to continue our program into 2017 with both drivers, and will make our announcement about our 2017 campaign later this year; however we still have 2016 to look forward to, as the request for these cars to be showed at events, store openings, and product launches have been many. We are glad to promote the sport and our products, brining green to the racing venue and educating potential new fans about both efforts and the sport,” wrapped up Burlum.

1910305_1261146350567036_7300082637061664525_n

For Immediate Release:

May 15, 2016, New Holland, Pennsylvania

Source: Green Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions offers the Smart Emissions Reducer Technology as an alternative solution in combating the EPA’s efforts to impose new rules that would significantly impact grass roots racing.

The technology first introduced to commercial fleets, improved upon, marketed and distributed by individuals involved in dirt track racing makes full circle as the Smart Emissions Reducer is brought back to where Extreme Energy Solutions got its roots, Orange County Fair Speedway and the local racing community.

Former Street Stock racer Samuel K. Burlum, now CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions Inc, implemented a plan to vet the Smart Emissions Reducer as a legitimate and affordable answer in reducing harmful toxic emissions on gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Set out on a journey in 2010, Burlum and the Company were able to seek the blessing of the New York City Taxi and Limo Commission in allowing vehicles under the agency’s rulemaking to be retrofitted with the device.

Armed with having a CARB Executive Order Number (D-671) and permission to offer the device by the NYC TLC, Extreme Energy Solutions began to offer its product to commercial business fleets, municipal government fleets, and individual vehicle owners whom were interested in lessening their carbon footprint while also wanting to conserve on their need of fossil fuels.

In 2012, the Smart Emissions Reducer technology was tested coast to coast by municipal and county government, commercial business fleets, taxi cab fleets, and other interest parties across the nation. The consistency in pilot program test results caught the attention of engine and vehicle manufactures in search of emissions reduction efficiency technology. In 2013, Extreme Energy Solutions entered into relationships with these interested parties from the automotive industry.

Simultaneously, Extreme Energy Solutions was bolstering its cache of lab test results, when it enrolled Roush Industries to test the device under controlled conditions, which would yield results up to 65 percent in emissions reductions with the side benefit of fuel economy up to 7.5% in fuel efficiency gains.

The Changzhou Keshi Group, a specialty vehicle manufacturer of mining equipment vehicles would later test the Smart Emissions Reducer in under strict laboratory conditions, reporting back up to a 5% potential increase in fuel efficiency, on a 5.9 liter Cummings diesel powered engine. Keshi also discovered the device could reach up to a 63% reduction in harmful toxic emissions during these test protocols. A battery of tests would demonstrate the Smart Emissions Reducer would deliver 20% to 50% in consistent emissions reductions, while offering no less than 2% to 3% in minimal fuel economy engine efficiency gains.

The testing data was reviewed by Dr. Carley Corrado, with the Department of Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, who provided commentary on the Statistical Margin of Error within the test report, evaluating the reduction of emissions and improved fuel efficiency by addition of the SER onto a new Cummings diesel engine.

“The total emissions averaged over 6 modes tested in the categories of CO, K/M, and N% were decreased by 22%, 25%, and 18% respectively,” added Dr. Corrado, “There was a decrease in Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, (BSFC) of 2.3% which is equivalent to the corresponding improvement of fuel efficiency.”

“Conservative projections of the fuel economy savings resulting from addition of the SER estimates an ROI of 1.2 years and a total fuel savings of 10,000 liters (2641 gallons) of fuel over the expected lifespan of the SER,” continued Corrado.

As of recent, Free-Col Labs had conducted a series of Mass Spectrometer Test, to verify the validity of the Smart Emissions Reducer device, and with much surprise, the technology performed much beyond the expectation of its original estimated form and functionality.

Ed Grimm. Vice President of Infinity Industry Controls and a NASA Certified Calibrations Inspector, vetted the results and the technology in saying that the findings were consistent with previous testing conducted on the device.

Burlum and Extreme Energy Solutions wanted to test the device within the racing community, so they reconnected with their old friend, Veteran Driver Tommy Vigh Jr., whom was undecided on his 2016 racing season campaign.

Burlum shared his Company’s plan to test the Smart Emissions Reducer on the popular 602 GM Crate Engine, and quickly partnered with Crate Motor Connection in testing the device on the engine dyno while it would be up to Vigh to test the technology in real time conditions on the track.

Crate Motor Connection tested the device and found that it had no adverse effects on the 602 GM Crate engine, while it did show some increase to engine/fuel efficiency. Results on the track are too early to tell, however Extreme Energy Solutions and Veteran Tommy Vigh Jr. are committed in finding out all of the effects and benefits the device can provide to his fellow racer, as their alliance extends well into the 2017 racing season.

Extreme Energy Solutions had partnered up with schools of thought in testing the device, such as Clarkson University, and the SAE Snowmobile Team, where the University’s entry was outfitted with the Smart Emissions Reducer in 2013 national competition, giving the fuel economy challenge win over to Clarkson. King Abdulla University of Science and Technology (KAUST) had also tested the SER.  The device was furthered tested and implemented into practice as a part of the Liberty Motors Entry into the Progressive X Prize Fuel Economy Race in 2010.

The technology continues to be tested in the field, with projects continuing in Jordan, China, and domestically in the United States. The Smart Emissions Reducer has been introduced to markets in the US, Canada, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, China, Italy, and South Africa. Executives and Tech experts with Extreme Energy Solutions met with Lamborghini in July of 2015; with the intent the vehicle manufacturers would test the device in their lab and on their super cars.

Nearing the 2016 racing season brought the usual habits of many local racers; the last minute scramble to prepare their equipment for another race season; the start of the 2016 race season also brought much concern to the racing community when the EPA made the announcement that it was going to ban the conversion of street vehicles for off road racing usage.

The EPA argued that these vehicles originally designated for street use, during the conversion process, the vehicles emissions control equipment would be removed from the vehicle, adding to the roles vehicles that would now contribute to omitting harmful toxic vehicle emissions; vehicles that were never intended for racing competition.

The EPA continued their argument that it was against law to remove emissions control devices and equipment however hobbyist and racers would push back. With the help of organizations like SEMA, racers were able to put to bed this argument so they can go on to race another day.

However Samuel K. Burlum thinks is just a matter of time the EPA will challenge the industry and sport once again,

“EPA has been very aggressive as it relates emissions reduction and fuel efficiency of vehicles, as their decisions have proven over the past years. Racing is not immune to the EPA’s desire and racing sanction bodies should be looking for alternatives in policing themselves with some sort of effort satisfactory enough to keep the agency at bay.”

“The Smart Emissions Reducer has proven itself as a serious consideration and solution to this issue, for it does not negatively effect the performance of the engine, is cost effective, and has the data to uphold the argument about its effectiveness in lowering harmful vehicle emissions,” continued Burlum.

Burlum also was quick to point out other larger racing bodies have taken steps toward recognizing the industries contribution to environmental impact.

“NASCAR has even taken steps in trying to minimize racings impact on the environment. It ushered in the switch from carbureted engines to the mandate of fuel injection due to the benefits of fuel economy it provides. Then we saw NASCAR switch to an ethanol enriched blended fuel. It’s just a matter of time before they begin to explore other options to self-police this issue.”

The Smart Emissions Reducer message can be found on the sides of the #92 Extreme Kleaner/Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored Dirt Sportsman Modified race car driven by Veteran Tommy Vigh Jr., as it states on the bottom of the door, “Go Green with the Same Machine!”

This message is also extended to the #H2O Energy Flow/Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored Dirt Sportsman Modified wheeled by the Rookie Sportsman driver Jimmy Devitt.

The message is even more pronounced on the side of Connor Otten’s #11 Dirt Sportsman Modified, seen at competition at both the Orange County Fair Speedway and Accord Speedway.

2016 World Green Energy Symposium, this year held in Washington DC, at University of District of Columbia, at the University’s new energy efficient, award winning LEED facility, April 7, 2016. The WGES put back the focus on the core essence of life, the very building block to all of our existence, water; which affects everything else as humans we do. Once discussions about best practices on how to clean up our fresh water supply were revealed, the conversations turned to our need to focus on clean air, soil, food, and clean-green energy.

Four-time Emmy Winner, former Broadcast Journalist Jan Fox was the event’s emcee and opened the event at 9:30 am introducing special guest and speakers to the podium.

“We want to thank you all for coming today in attending this year’s WGES,” said Professor Robert Gallagher, Executive Chair of the World Green Energy Symposium as he welcomed all guests to the well-attended event, “We intend to share with you methods and ideas on how to solve some of our most pressing societal concerns as it regards our environment, economy, water air and water supply.”

Mr. Tommy Wells, Director of Energy and Environment, with the District of Columbia had first reported to the audience of attendees his findings and experiences at global meetings focused on climate change. Including in his address were factors and trends taking place in developed nations.

“In Europe, there are major metro cities now making policies to cut out the need of any fossil fuel sources, which is forcing the auto industry to change their products to meet these new standards,” shared Wells.

Dr. Sebine O’Hare, Dean of College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability & Environmental Sciences (CAUSE), University of DC, provided insight to sustainable food production and the need for micro food management. Dr. Sebine O’Hare and CAUSE were formally recognized in 2015 by the WGES as a NOVA Award recipient for their advancements in this field.

Ms. JoAnn Hill, and Ron Uba, both with the US Department of Commerce, throughout the day would present economic opportunities for entrepreneurs in the room seeking ways to grow their business in partnering with government to solve environmental issues and concerns. Together their department has been credited in providing millions of dollars in contract opportunities to small business.

The importance of clean air, soil and water conservation and better food growth methods was furthered by R. Sonny Ramaswamy, Director with the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, USDA, where he disclosed examples of working projects aimed at lessening our carbon footprint while meeting the needs of a growing population.

Mr. Michael Jones Bae, spoke about the future and how to harness future opportunities within the green tech, environmental, and energy industry sectors as he gave many words of inspiration for students and entrepreneurs attending the conference.

“Look to the future and do not focus on profits, focus on solving problems, and the opportunities to make a profit will reveal themselves,” Bae added.

Attendees also got a fresh perspective on how the US GSA is handling policy, budgets, and practices to green government building and how to maximize their use, presented by Mr. Kevin Kampschroer, Chief Sustainability Officer for US GSA. His expert panel walked attendees through one of the most extensive undertakings; to convert of one of the oldest GSA buildings in the country, into one of the most modern and energy efficient within its building class without compromising the buildings historical significance. Panelist dedicated time to explain the challenges of such and endeavor and how they overcame challenges to make this building a model for other to follow.

Mr. Paul Puckorius, wrapped up the day’s series of events with commentary directed toward water and waste management; where he lent his experience and expertise on ways we all can help in conserving water, and the importance to be mindful of this value resource.

Professor Gallagher recognized all of the past World Green Energy Symposium NOVA Award Honorees for their contributions to advancements in solving problems associated with environmental and energy issues, as he prepared to recognize the 2016 NOVA Award Class of Honorees.

“We are excited to add to our list of NOVA Award winners, entities and individuals whom have gone beyond the call of duty in improving our lives in the areas of the environment, economy, and energy,”

“They will join the ranks of past Honorees, an elite class that stands out among the many in our society which have taken visionary steps to solve our global warming and climate change issue,”

We have with us today former honorees including the City of Washington DC, CAUSE, City of Philadelphia, Drexel University, Dow Chemical, and Extreme Energy Solutions, among others who have demonstrated making steps and development of policies and technologies that lead us to protecting our environment and natural resources, while providing sustainable choices,”

The 2016 Class of Honorees included Ron Uba for his multiple years of dedication and commitment to environmental sustainability and for his ability to align entrepreneurs with public policy, thus spurring off millions of dollars in economic growth. The US GSA also received the honor for its innovation in testing and implementing new green technology, in what is now one of the most energy efficient government buildings in the entire country. The hosting site for the event, the University of District of Columbia was presented with an award for their continued efforts for urban planning that pushes for maximizing and recycling value resources such as water, air, food, and energy.

“This year’s World Green Energy Symposium seemed to focus on the basics, the fundamentals of what fuels our very existence,” contributed Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President, Extreme Energy Solutions, a green tech company located in Ogdensburg New Jersey, and scheduled presenter at the conference.

“There is a continuous theme, and that is that as a society if we can master the basics, the ability to solve environmental problems and concerns will come with more ease.”

“Since all of these elements influence technology, entrepreneurs needs to look to creating the next generation of innovation and products surround these key areas in order to be ahead of the curve,” mentioned Burlum.
