Extreme Energy Solutions Provides the Racing Community with An Answer to EPA’s Desire to Regulate Emissions in Racing

1910305_1261146350567036_7300082637061664525_n

For Immediate Release:

May 15, 2016, New Holland, Pennsylvania

Source: Green Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions offers the Smart Emissions Reducer Technology as an alternative solution in combating the EPA’s efforts to impose new rules that would significantly impact grass roots racing.

The technology first introduced to commercial fleets, improved upon, marketed and distributed by individuals involved in dirt track racing makes full circle as the Smart Emissions Reducer is brought back to where Extreme Energy Solutions got its roots, Orange County Fair Speedway and the local racing community.

Former Street Stock racer Samuel K. Burlum, now CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions Inc, implemented a plan to vet the Smart Emissions Reducer as a legitimate and affordable answer in reducing harmful toxic emissions on gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Set out on a journey in 2010, Burlum and the Company were able to seek the blessing of the New York City Taxi and Limo Commission in allowing vehicles under the agency’s rulemaking to be retrofitted with the device.

Armed with having a CARB Executive Order Number (D-671) and permission to offer the device by the NYC TLC, Extreme Energy Solutions began to offer its product to commercial business fleets, municipal government fleets, and individual vehicle owners whom were interested in lessening their carbon footprint while also wanting to conserve on their need of fossil fuels.

In 2012, the Smart Emissions Reducer technology was tested coast to coast by municipal and county government, commercial business fleets, taxi cab fleets, and other interest parties across the nation. The consistency in pilot program test results caught the attention of engine and vehicle manufactures in search of emissions reduction efficiency technology. In 2013, Extreme Energy Solutions entered into relationships with these interested parties from the automotive industry.

Simultaneously, Extreme Energy Solutions was bolstering its cache of lab test results, when it enrolled Roush Industries to test the device under controlled conditions, which would yield results up to 65 percent in emissions reductions with the side benefit of fuel economy up to 7.5% in fuel efficiency gains.

The Changzhou Keshi Group, a specialty vehicle manufacturer of mining equipment vehicles would later test the Smart Emissions Reducer in under strict laboratory conditions, reporting back up to a 5% potential increase in fuel efficiency, on a 5.9 liter Cummings diesel powered engine. Keshi also discovered the device could reach up to a 63% reduction in harmful toxic emissions during these test protocols. A battery of tests would demonstrate the Smart Emissions Reducer would deliver 20% to 50% in consistent emissions reductions, while offering no less than 2% to 3% in minimal fuel economy engine efficiency gains.

The testing data was reviewed by Dr. Carley Corrado, with the Department of Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, who provided commentary on the Statistical Margin of Error within the test report, evaluating the reduction of emissions and improved fuel efficiency by addition of the SER onto a new Cummings diesel engine.

“The total emissions averaged over 6 modes tested in the categories of CO, K/M, and N% were decreased by 22%, 25%, and 18% respectively,” added Dr. Corrado, “There was a decrease in Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, (BSFC) of 2.3% which is equivalent to the corresponding improvement of fuel efficiency.”

“Conservative projections of the fuel economy savings resulting from addition of the SER estimates an ROI of 1.2 years and a total fuel savings of 10,000 liters (2641 gallons) of fuel over the expected lifespan of the SER,” continued Corrado.

As of recent, Free-Col Labs had conducted a series of Mass Spectrometer Test, to verify the validity of the Smart Emissions Reducer device, and with much surprise, the technology performed much beyond the expectation of its original estimated form and functionality.

Ed Grimm. Vice President of Infinity Industry Controls and a NASA Certified Calibrations Inspector, vetted the results and the technology in saying that the findings were consistent with previous testing conducted on the device.

Burlum and Extreme Energy Solutions wanted to test the device within the racing community, so they reconnected with their old friend, Veteran Driver Tommy Vigh Jr., whom was undecided on his 2016 racing season campaign.

Burlum shared his Company’s plan to test the Smart Emissions Reducer on the popular 602 GM Crate Engine, and quickly partnered with Crate Motor Connection in testing the device on the engine dyno while it would be up to Vigh to test the technology in real time conditions on the track.

Crate Motor Connection tested the device and found that it had no adverse effects on the 602 GM Crate engine, while it did show some increase to engine/fuel efficiency. Results on the track are too early to tell, however Extreme Energy Solutions and Veteran Tommy Vigh Jr. are committed in finding out all of the effects and benefits the device can provide to his fellow racer, as their alliance extends well into the 2017 racing season.

Extreme Energy Solutions had partnered up with schools of thought in testing the device, such as Clarkson University, and the SAE Snowmobile Team, where the University’s entry was outfitted with the Smart Emissions Reducer in 2013 national competition, giving the fuel economy challenge win over to Clarkson. King Abdulla University of Science and Technology (KAUST) had also tested the SER.  The device was furthered tested and implemented into practice as a part of the Liberty Motors Entry into the Progressive X Prize Fuel Economy Race in 2010.

The technology continues to be tested in the field, with projects continuing in Jordan, China, and domestically in the United States. The Smart Emissions Reducer has been introduced to markets in the US, Canada, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, China, Italy, and South Africa. Executives and Tech experts with Extreme Energy Solutions met with Lamborghini in July of 2015; with the intent the vehicle manufacturers would test the device in their lab and on their super cars.

Nearing the 2016 racing season brought the usual habits of many local racers; the last minute scramble to prepare their equipment for another race season; the start of the 2016 race season also brought much concern to the racing community when the EPA made the announcement that it was going to ban the conversion of street vehicles for off road racing usage.

The EPA argued that these vehicles originally designated for street use, during the conversion process, the vehicles emissions control equipment would be removed from the vehicle, adding to the roles vehicles that would now contribute to omitting harmful toxic vehicle emissions; vehicles that were never intended for racing competition.

The EPA continued their argument that it was against law to remove emissions control devices and equipment however hobbyist and racers would push back. With the help of organizations like SEMA, racers were able to put to bed this argument so they can go on to race another day.

However Samuel K. Burlum thinks is just a matter of time the EPA will challenge the industry and sport once again,

“EPA has been very aggressive as it relates emissions reduction and fuel efficiency of vehicles, as their decisions have proven over the past years. Racing is not immune to the EPA’s desire and racing sanction bodies should be looking for alternatives in policing themselves with some sort of effort satisfactory enough to keep the agency at bay.”

“The Smart Emissions Reducer has proven itself as a serious consideration and solution to this issue, for it does not negatively effect the performance of the engine, is cost effective, and has the data to uphold the argument about its effectiveness in lowering harmful vehicle emissions,” continued Burlum.

Burlum also was quick to point out other larger racing bodies have taken steps toward recognizing the industries contribution to environmental impact.

“NASCAR has even taken steps in trying to minimize racings impact on the environment. It ushered in the switch from carbureted engines to the mandate of fuel injection due to the benefits of fuel economy it provides. Then we saw NASCAR switch to an ethanol enriched blended fuel. It’s just a matter of time before they begin to explore other options to self-police this issue.”

The Smart Emissions Reducer message can be found on the sides of the #92 Extreme Kleaner/Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored Dirt Sportsman Modified race car driven by Veteran Tommy Vigh Jr., as it states on the bottom of the door, “Go Green with the Same Machine!”

This message is also extended to the #H2O Energy Flow/Extreme Energy Solutions sponsored Dirt Sportsman Modified wheeled by the Rookie Sportsman driver Jimmy Devitt.

The message is even more pronounced on the side of Connor Otten’s #11 Dirt Sportsman Modified, seen at competition at both the Orange County Fair Speedway and Accord Speedway.

For immediate Release

April 1, 2016, Sparta, New Jersey

Source: New Jersey Green Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions and their CEO, Samuel K. Burlum, pair up with Project Help, to assist homeless and disabled Veterans and their families in need.

According to the United States Department of Housing (HUD) estimates over 47,000 Veterans in which formally served their nation go without on any giving night, which are just the Veterans in which Federal and State agencies can account for. There are countless others in which are completely off the radar because they do not receive any benefits of any kind for their service.

Sandy Mitchell, Director of Project Help, recently organized a team of community leaders, students, and individuals from the business community to combine resources in combating the issue of Veteran Homelessness. Among the founders and partners, are Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc., and their CEO, Samuel K. Burlum.

Extreme and Burlum have been known for helping other Veteran Causes including Save A Warrior, Wounded Warrior Project, Salute to Our Vets and other fundraisers held by the Spirit of the Arts Foundation aimed at providing resources toward homeless and disabled veterans. Extreme once again steps up to the plate in helping Project Help.

“One of our most serious social issues we have today, is how we treat Veterans after they sacrifice their lives for our freedoms and put their lives on the line in protecting our country,” contributed Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc., “We need to take better care of our Veterans if we are to have a strong military.”

“If we do not care for our Veterans, the message rings clear that we have no respect for those whom fought with their lives to protect our freedoms; it is demoralizing and a matter of national security.”

Burlum and his company is now a fellow founder in the organization and contributor in providing some of the seed resources in moving Project Help forward.

“I am super glad to be working with Samuel Burlum and his team,” added Sandy Mitchell, Director of Project Help, “He has proven to be an asset to other non-profit organizations, and we work well together.”

Mitchell and Burlum served together on the Board of Directors of the former non-profit organization, Spirit of the Arts Foundation. Burlum was named Treasurer for the Project Help Board of Directors.

Project help is a support mechanism for homeless veterans and their families whereby the can stop at any one of the SOSvets Closets, by Catholic Charities, in four counties so far, and take whatever clothing and items they need at no cost to the Veteran.

The organization has a network of individuals whom donate their services to Veterans in need. This network extends their expertise from seamstresses/tailors to beauticians and counselors.

Project Help is on a constant mission to gather up collections of items for men, women, and children, including but not limited to, such items like baseball caps, shorts, tee shirts, underwear, socks, diapers, sun screen, toiletries, handi-wipes and diaper wipes, shoes and business attire, for redistribution for these men and women and their families whom may be less fortunate.

Aside from accepting donated items at one of the authorized drop sites, Project Help also looks to host a number of fundraisers, with the proceeds being forwarded to one of their project partners which utilize these funds in getting Veterans off the streets. 100% of these proceeds are made available to Vets and their families with no administrative fees or cost taken by Catholic Charities.

In addition to Extreme Energy Solutions, of Ogdensburg, New Jersey; Project Help has partnered with the Mt. Olive High School, Decorus Film & Photo, the Lions Club, American Legions, surrounding area VFW’s, and Catholic Charities have committed in assisting Project Help with its mission.

Project Help offers multiple options on how an individual, business, and/or a community organization can contribute in raising awareness and resources for Veterans in need. One of the ways one can help is by making a simple donation to one of the drop locations of items on the requested list. Another is that a business and/or an organization can request to set up a community event, including a tricky tray or 5k run; set up a collection day; special event day with entertainment; and/or charity concert.

Project Help offers many opportunities to assist Veterans. If you and your business/community organization would like to assist Project help you can call Sandy Mitchell at 973-875-2068, or reach out via email sandy@mitchellclan.com. Project help are seeking Volunteers for a number of scheduled events and to assist in public awareness to the problem.

“One of the best ways a private citizen, whom did not serve in the military, can serve their nation, is to serve their and assist the nation’s Veterans,” concluded Burlum.

Source: Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President and Green Tech Company, Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc. continues to debate the allegations made by the New Jersey State Agency and will head into a contest in court Summer of 2016. Burl um and Company continue to assert their affirmed defenses in both court of law and in the court of public opinion.

Oldenburg, New Jersey, December 22, 2015

Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc., currently located in Oldenburg, New Jersey, and its CEO and President Samuel K. Burl um, have been embattled in a heavy contest of debate with the New Jersey Bureau of Securities over a list of allegations it published in the public media October 2014. Burl um and Company had tried to settle with the State agency, ending in many failed attempts, with both sides not willing to settle on concessions that would bring this matter to a close. With the matter still standing, it is scheduled to be heard in administrative court late June 2016.

Burl um, the Company, and many of its Shareholders (investors) have grown tired by the abusive tactics and bad faith demonstrated by the agency in the past year and two months. Shareholders have expressed their support for the Company and their CEO in a series of notarized letters, and condemn the actions of the State Agency. Letter can be reviewed here

“Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc. and I, continues to assert and affirm our defenses in this matter,” says Samuel K. Burl um, CEO for Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc., ” as the Company and I look to have this matter heard in both a Court of Law and in the Court of Public Opinion.”

“Many investors have also expressed their disgust and frustrations with the New Jersey Securities Bureau and Attorney General’s office, in which they are angered by the State’s actions, claiming it is the state which has put their investment in jeopardy. A large number of investors have written certified/notarized letters in support of the Company and Burl um, coming out against the New Jersey Bureau of Securities and the Attorney General,” added Burlum.

The Company claims it has lost a significant amount of business due to efforts by the NJ AG’s office and his staff, to vilify the Company and it’s CEO in the public. Burlum makes the allegation that the AG “purposefully and knowingly” left out important material facts that would weaken the state’s position in order to create the perception of a fraud when one does not exist.

In addition Burl um claims the AG, Bureau Chief, and members of their staff purposefully and knowingly engaged, in a very sophisticated on-line media smear campaign which defamed Burl um and the Company. Burlum states that this campaign has caused “confusion to our clients and investors,” thus resulting in financial damages for the Company.

“We are looking forward in getting these issues resolved so that we can continue to vision and mission of Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc.,” concluded Burl um.

The Company continues to offer its products and services including the Smart Emissions Reducer, Extreme Kleaner, Extreme Xtra Fuel Treatments, and H20 Energy Flow Bottled Water.
