Extreme Kleaner is a non-toxic biodegradable cleaner-degreaser manufactured in the United States, which originates from the Garden State, where it is packaged for consumers around the nation. By year end of 2015, Extreme Kleaner was made available in other hardware chains, auto parts stores, and food stores coast to coast at selected locations in selected states. Several new opportunities were created in 2016 for the product to be made available to additional consumers including the launch of Extreme Kleaner in both a number of co-ops and larger big box retailers. 2017 opens with the launch of Extreme Kleaner in Menard’s and Woodman’s.

A portion of every sale of Extreme Kleaner is dedicated toward assisting local and/or regional causes. Former causes which received the benefit of this initiative include Project Help, a cause aimed at helping to eradicate Veteran homelessness; STEM Education, the performing arts, and non-profit educational forums for environmental and economic sustainability. Extreme Energy Solutions Partners with Orgill Distributors in Offering Extreme Kleaner to Locally Owned Independent Hardware Stores

For Immediate Release:  February 21, 2017; Memphis, Tennessee

Source: Extreme Energy Solutions’ expanded its market reach with its non-toxic, biodegradable, environmentally friendly, multi-purpose cleaner-degreaser Extreme Kleaner, when it partnered with Orgill Distributors. EES now offers Extreme Kleaner to locally owned independent hardware stores that source inventory from the Orgill Distribution Network, and will be available at selected stores nationwide.

Orgill Distributors recently approved Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., as a drop ship vendor, which allowed for Extreme to participate in Orgill’s Spring/Summer Buying Convention, held in New Orleans, February 16-18, 2017. There, several locally owned independent stores in attendance signed up to offer Extreme Kleaner in their store. Extreme Kleaner will be made available to consumers through selected independent retail locations affiliated with Orgill.

Orgill Distributors is the largest independently owned hardlines distributor providing retailers with over 75,000 product choices both domestically as well as internationally, with locations in over 60 other countries. Founded in 1847, Orgill continues to provide inventory and retail services to a host of locally owned independent hardware stores, lumber yards, building centers, and other retailers related to home service industry. Orgill calls Memphis, Tennessee home to its corporate center.

Orgill addresses and services the hardware store industry differently than other competitors in the hardware supply space; for it is not a co-operative warehouse. Part of the ongoing success Orgill has achieved is due to its retailer support model, one which aims to assist local store owners in building their own brand identity, versus tying their local store to a national name plate.

So it is no wonder why Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., with its product Extreme Kleaner, is such a good fit in partnering with Orgill. As part of Extreme Kleaner’s early adopter’s promotional program, Extreme Energy Solutions teams up with each independent locally owned store to spread the important message of why it is important for consumers to “buy local.” Extreme provides a series of marketing and advertising promotions with the intent that it will help each store increase its foot traffic, letting potential customers know that they can get Extreme Kleaner at a selected independently owned local business in their region.

Extreme has launched its marketing campaign to help promote Extreme Kleaner, including a series of print and media advertising, social media campaigns, motorsports marketing campaigns, and new video content highlighting the two available formulas: Extreme Kleaner Multi-Purpose Cleaner-Degreaser and Glass, Tile and More formula. You can find a store location near you, by visiting http://extremekleaner.com/where-to-buy/

“We are very grateful and appreciative of the opportunity to partner with Orgill. We enjoy working alongside of local store owners from around the nation and helping them promote their small business. I am glad they are giving Extreme Kleaner a chance to show the product is a performer. We have found working with Orgill’s team to be very helpful and knowledgeable,” commented Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc., the parent company of Extreme Kleaner.

Burlum added, “For 2017, we are in the process of organizing another Extreme Kleaner Tour of Stores, which will now include stops and promotional awareness at selected locally owned retail store locations.”

Orgill now joins the ranks as the latest retailer group to now offer Extreme Kleaner.

Extreme Kleaner is now available in a number of selected independently owned retailer locations nationwide, including many hardware stores, auto parts stores, grocery markets, and variety stores. Clean Tech Company’s Smart Emissions Reducer Now Ready for Mass Market

Clean Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions’ Smart Emissions Reducer Now Ready for Mass Market Adoption (Complete Story Here)

December 5, 2016

Sparta, New Jersey

Source: Clean Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions says after successful third party laboratory testing and intense field testing around the world with positive results, the Smart Emissions Reducer is now ready for mass market adoption.

“The Smart Emissions Reducer is field tested and laboratory approved for saving money and the environment,” is the message sent by the clean technology company Extreme Energy Solutions (EES), provider of the Smart Emissions Reducer (SER). Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., has spent several years investing in focused, quality research, development, and fine tuning of this device for the purposes of one day finding itself under the hood of most vehicles. The company believes that the Smart Emissions Reducer will become a standard component for most new makes and models of vehicles manufactured and sold around the world. EES made its announcement via video; can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=KT80ftMB06E

In the last five years, the Smart Emissions Reducer, under the stewardship of Extreme Energy Solutions had been introduced domestically while also making landfall in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, China, and Italy. It is there, where a number of these devices have been tested, sold, and considered by government, commercial fleet operators, as well as engine and vehicle manufacturers, in their quest to play their part in lowering harmful toxic vehicle emissions while maximizing the efficiency of their vehicles.

The Smart Emissions Reducer has been put through a battery of testing in the last half a decade which included a regiment of testing by Roush Industries, in Lavonia, Michigan. The purposes of these tests were to baseline a vehicle’s emissions and fuel economy numbers without the device applied to the vehicle, then again to trial the vehicle with the device under controlled laboratory conditions. Two sets of vehicles in 2012, 2015, 2016 were sent to the laboratory, all demonstrating consistent results, which showed the device had a positive effect on lowering the vehicles emissions? even up to a 65% reduction in emissions. Fuel efficiency numbers were also compared, with testing revealing up to a 7.5% increase in fuel efficiency on specific year and make models.

The Changzhou Keshi Group tested the Smart Emissions Reducer in their lab, located in Jiangsu Providence of China. Extensive testing protocols were practiced in testing the device. Keshi tested the device on Cummings diesel engines that were modified for use by the vehicle manufacturer that specializes in mining equipment and vehicles. Their results demonstrated the Smart Emissions Reducer performed well, with up to 25% reduction in certain emissions and up to 2.5% increase in fuel efficiency. In addition to Roush and Keshi, the Smart Emissions Reducer was tested by FreeCol Labs, via a mass spectrometer test. This particular test verifies the before and after effects of the pollutants and chemical makeup of emissions gases as they entered and exited the device. The tests were very revealing in providing information that the Smart Emissions Reducer has an effect on blowby exhaust gases.

The Smart Emissions Reducer has seen a number of realtime pilot program trials and testing in the field. Devices were installed on a number of vehicles, and monitored over a period of 30-60-90 day intervals. Emissions results were recorded as business and municipal fleets would provide the very first series of field trials of the device.

The first municipal fleet trial was ran in Andover Township, New Jersey. The next municipality to try the Smart Emissions Reducer was Winnebago County in Illinois, followed by the City of Rockford (IL), Douglas County (OR), and the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PA). These vehicle fleets saw results between a 25% to 75% reduction in emissions as well as fuel efficiency gains? in some cases, up to 12% and 15%. Some of these municipalities opted to purchase the devices used during the pilot program and thereafter.

Commercial business fleets to pilot the device, some implemented a plan to retrofit select vehicles throughout their northeast locations. The New York City Taxi and Limo Commission reviewed the device as well, and made it permissible for vehicles under their rulemaking to be retrofitted with the green technology device. Taxi fleets in California also tested the device with much success.

The device was also tested on the 602 GM Crate Engine, commonly founded throughout the Northeast dirt track racing circuit. Crate Motor Connection had provided the dyno and tested the engine retrofitted with the device, reporting back that they monitored no adverse findings and with a slight increase in efficiency noticed.

With these successes on the books, Extreme Energy Solutions decided it was changing its business model, making the device available to vehicle manufacturers. The choice came in 2014/2015 when the final test results were collected from pilot programs in Jordan that solidified the verdict of the Smart Emissions Reducer’s worthiness. Since then, Extreme Energy Solutions has visited with a number of potential clients/vehicle manufactures headquartered in the United States as well as various other countries including China and Italy.

“It was with the end game in mind, that we began our grass roots campaign to commercialize the Smart Emissions Reducer,” commented Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc.,“Our vision is to see this device installed at factory level when new vehicle and engines are manufactured. We feel the technology has proven itself over time to be effective enough to aid engine and vehicle manufactures in meeting new goals and benchmarks in greenhouse gas emissions and fuel efficiency ratings.”

Even though the company has begun to limit testing on smaller scale projects, Extreme Energy Solutions is still concentrating resources on its flagship product as Burlum continued to explain, “We shifted a part of our focus away from localized projects and decided to begin setting the stage to address vehicle and engine manufacturers. This means the switch of focus takes your device and company out of the local limelight and put back behind the scenes until engine/vehicle manufacturers are ready to announce their intent to make the move to adopting the device.”

The company has a number of LOI’s from vehicle/engine manufactures where talks are still ongoing. Burlum was noted in saying that Extreme Energy Solutions would still entertain a local/regional Smart Emissions Reducer pilot project with a municipality or commercial fleet if the terms and conditions were not in conflict with the company’s current direction. The Company has projects slated in Jordan and South Africa to continue testing the Smart Emissions Reducer in the field on both commercial and government owned vehicles.

Spring Cleaning with Earth Day in Mind

April 1, 2015 Madison, WI

Story originally written by Lauressa Nelson, freelance writer and contributor to Natural Awakenings Magazine.

Earth Day is Earth Day is conveniently celebrated in a great month for spring cleaning, which gives us good reason to comb through our cabinets and reevaluate our cleaning supplies. Many of us are interested in nontoxic cleaners to ensure the safety of our families or to shield them and ourselves from respiratory irritants that contribute to allergies and asthma. Some also consider the bigger picture; the impact of the household products that we washdown our drains and flush into our water supply. Yet, we also value effective cleaning ability and affordability, and finding products that fit the bill is often challenging.

“The younger generations today have grown up with green culture; it’s engrained in them, part of their being,” explains Samuel Burlum, CEO of Extreme Energy Solutions, makers of Extreme Kleaner, a biodegradable, nontoxic, all-purpose cleaner/degreaser available through Amazon.com and at Ace Hardware and True Value Hardware stores in Madison area.

“They are more conscious and aware of the impact of their buying choices and how they affect the environment around them.”

Consumer voices are making a difference. Mintel, a Chicago-based market research company, noted that the green cleaning category quadrupled its sales between 2003 and 2008, from $17.7 million to $64.5 million, and that the market share of eco-friendly cleaners has increased ten-fold since 2003, from 3 percent to more than 30 percent. Meanwhile, sales in the conventional cleaning category declined by 7 percent, when inflation was accounted for, between 2002 and 2007. This economic reality is certainly the driving force behind the development of eco-friendly cleaners by megacorporations and the private-label brands of big-box retailers like Wal-Mart, which introduced its Great Value Naturals line in November 2014.

As consumers that manage our households, we are smart to be concerned about the ingredients in the cleaning supplies we use. According to a 2011 article in Mother Jones magazine, nearly 75,000 chemicals have been introduced into consumer products and only about 5 percent of those have been tested for potential side effects and health risks. Women’s Voices for the Earth (WVE), an organization that amplifies women’s voices to eliminate harmful chemicals, reports that cleaning product companies are not required to disclose their ingredients.

WVE commissioned an independent laboratory test for toxic chemicals in 20 popular cleaning products from the top five companies in the industry: Clorox, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, SC Johnson and Son, and Sunshine Makers (Simple Green). They found undisclosed chemicals linked to reproductive toxins, carcinogens, hormone disruptors and allergies. WVE offers tips and provides the names of “No Secrets” companies, those that list all the ingredients in their cleaning products, right down to the fragrance.

Burlum says that toxic ingredients excluded from Extreme Kleaner’s formulation are often found in other cleaners. The company’s Product Comparison Sheet, which lists those ingredients and their known risks, can be found at Tinyurl.com/ExtremeKleanerCompare.

Fortunately, third-party consumer advocacy groups and certification programs help consumers make better choices. The Environmental Protection Agency offers a Design for the Environment stamp of approval, and the nonprofit GreenSeal, in existence since 1989, uses science-based programs to empower consumers to create a more sustainable world and offers an accreditation using international guidelines for environmental labeling programs. NSF International is an independent, accredited consumer protection nonprofit that develops standards and tests and also certifies and audits consumer products and systems to protect and improve global human health and the environment.

Rather than grabbing the first household cleaner labeled “green” from the grocery store shelf, consumers should check products for both ingredients and third-party verification of their safety for people, pets and the environment.

Finding Sustainable Solutions Through Innovation

March 1, 2015 Madison, WI

Story originally written by Elly Tomei, freelance writer and contributor to Natural Awakenings Magazine.

It seems like every large corporate manufacturer of household cleaners now offers some version of a green or natural cleaner. For most of them, an eco-friendly cleaner is just one of hundreds of products they produce to answer to a segment of consumer demand in the market. Extreme Kleaner, a multi-purpose cleaner available online and at some True Value and Ace Hardware stores in Madison, has a very different story.

Its parent company, Extreme Energy Solutions (EES), was founded by four men that shared a love for amateur stock car racing. What started out as experiments with reducing auto emissions and developing more eco-friendly products and technologies for cars led to an entrepreneurial idea for Sam Burlum, current President and CEO of the company, who graduated with a degree in business management from Berkeley College in West Patterson (Woodland Park), New Jersey.

“We realized that the skills we were applying to test race cars were transferable,” remarks Burlum. “We co-created the Smart Emissions Reducer, which could be installed on almost any automobile.” The partners started in a two car garage and also formulated a fuel additive, Extreme Xtra Fuel Treatments, to lower emissions and increase power.

EES began consulting for companies seeking sustainable solutions and developing eco-friendly products. After doing research and development for one of them, Extreme Kleaner was formulated, and the young company merged with EES at the end of 2010. “We improved the product and brought it to market in the middle of 2012,” says Burlum who believes most of his business knowledge has come from learning by doing not just business school.

“Extreme Kleaner became available online in 2013 and was listed on Amazon and KeepAmerica.com last year,” he notes, adding that the production and ingredients of the proprietary formula are all sourced in New Jersey, where the company is based. True Value and Ace Hardware stores throughout the Northeast and Midwest are the product’s latest retail outlets. In addition to the current multi-purpose cleaner, Burlum says the company plans to introduce a glass and more formula.

The mission of EES is to provide environmental and economic sustainability through innovation that redefines incremental savings. According to Burlum, the company’s products provide a return on investment or at least a break even. With Extreme Kleaner, only one product is needed to do the job of five different cleaners and when environmental cost are added into the picture, the savings are even greater.

EES donates a portion of its sales each year to causes including veterans, environmental advocacy and awareness, and event sponsorships, especially those involving education. Burlum often talks about business, entrepreneurship and green technology at local universities.

“No matter what the product or service is, there is a base recipe for bringing to market,” explains Burlum, adding that green businesses usually incur higher cost upfront, but even but eventually catch up and surpass those that take shortcuts.
